Out & About

All of Cornwall's many attractions are easily reached from our central location with the north coast beaches of Portreath and Porthtowan being just 10 minutes drive and Falmouth on the south coast around 15 minutes drive. Truro - the city in the country is just a 10 minute car journey away.

Within easy reach of St Day holiday Park you will find a leisure centre, fishing, golf, horse riding, flea market, surfing, breathtaking walks and views plus much much more.

St Day and surrounding area is a "mine" of history, having been the heart of the mining industry with now only the disused mines and engine houses to remind us of its existence.

In the village of St. Day only 5 minutes walk from the park, there is a supermarket, launderette, newsagents and public house. There is a regular bus service to Redruth and Truro.

Short breaks are available outside of the peak period and in the Spring there is the added advantage of the beautiful hedgerows, magnolias, rhododendrons and camellias that are in abundance wherever you go.
